Maybe I will change the name of the Miss France lilies to can-can lilies. They do look kinda lined up there :-))

Plainwell, MI(Zone 5b)

What doea a virused lily look like? How can you tell? Ronna

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

What are the roses above Jacqueline?

North Shore of L. I., NY(Zone 6b)

Citrus Splash (multicolored) and on top of that Ruffled Cloud (pinkish purple).

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Ronna, the foliage will sometimes have color sploching and the bloom can have color sploching or breaks... You got something you think is virused? take a picture of it and post it. There are tons of folks in here that can help you identify it if it is virused...

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

Love the poppy, Susan, and Rita, congratulations on all of your beautiful blooms! Your garden is going to look spectacular.

Tracey, your lily bed is really coming along - can't wait to see it explode into color!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

NYR: Beautiful lileis and roses blooming. How perfect can you get?

Yep, lily fields, that's what I call : confessions of a true lily addict.

If only the "fields" would weed themselves. If you guys come up with some self weeding apparatus, let me know. Lol. Because of course, I looked at that picture and saw a nice big dandelion weed, front and center.

Thanks Tracey - but I can't remember where I got it!

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

It's cute, I especially like its long tail.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Ah Rita, the fireworks are beginning for you!! :) Yay!

Oooh Stevie, I do like that new lily of yours too. We really do need to have you mark them. How are we going to copy you if we don't know the names of what you have? :)

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

LOL Thanks Diann - HMM I know I need a lot of work on that front!

Red Bell - a fragrant Oriental from Buggy - semi-dwarf. Early blooms due to heritage (Rosario, pollen parent).

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Rita, your roses are lovely with those Lilies- I love Citrus Splash! Its much more subtle than I thought from the catalog pics- gotta get that one :-)

Steve, is the orange spotted one the same you posted in bud in this shot?

The stem bulblets make me think it's L. lancifolium, the classic Tiger Lily.

Jmorth I like thwm all but particularly Embarassment.

Do orientals persist in your yard? Casa Blanca and it's cousin Crystal Blanca (shorter, stronger stems) and Sorbonne are the only ones that persist and/or multiply in yard. Trumpets and orienpets go nuts, the North hybrids to wee, and of course the asiatics, but could you share with me your experiences with Orientals.

North Shore of L. I., NY(Zone 6b)

I got Miss France along with a bunch of other oriental lilies that I planted in along that same section and also the Jacqueline lilies from Van Bourgondien Wholesale.

I must say that my favorite companion plants for roses are lilies. To me the rose and lily combination is just so pleasing.

This year there will be lots of lily blooms in amoung the daylilies because I planted lots there earlier this spring.

Have you been over to the Clematis forum? There are some lovely examples of Clematis and Roses over there. :)

newyorkrita, it's exciting to see so many of your new ones blooming. Bev, I like the Tiger lily too. Pretty photos. You all have some great ones. Here's First Class from one of the fall co-ops. It's very shiney and waxy looking.

Crisp, clean NOID Bev, I like it.

Susan, that First Class looks so glossy, hard to miss that one.

Very nice you guys. It's nice to have a mix of very early ones, and very late ones, it sure extends the lily season. The lilies need to last as long for me as possible ^_^

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Very nice. I like that Champagne; front and back.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I really like Starburst. Speaking of nice backsides, I have to keep taking photos of Plum Peach. It has the best looking buds and backside of any lily I've seen. Nice from the front too.
