This morning, I walked outside to walk my dog and noticed that half the stem and a single leaf were chewed cleanly off at an angle and left in the dirt. However, I do not live in a forest, just a regular California Neiborhood. I also noticed there was no damage to the leaves or flowers. What could have done this? Should I tape it back together or give it a funeral?
