I grew 3 edible podded pea varieties this winter season--this one was definitely not as productive, but with nice straight flat pods which work very well in recipes. I rank it best of the 3 in flavor so far (above 'Super Snappy' for sure), however. The quality was 100% better than that obtained in the grocery store as either fresh or frozen.
I am aware that not every one likes edible podded peas--but a lot of folks like Asian cooking and specialty salads as I do

A selection from Sugar Snap that is earlier and more prolific. Available from Park's. A tall vine pea reaching 5- 6 feet.
