Cannas
The Canna is a genus of flowering plants and the only genus in the Cannaceae family. Native to tropical and subtropical regions of the Americas, Cannas possess large, attractive foliage and are one of the most popular garden plants. They grow best in full sun with moderate water, and can be grown almost anywhere as long as they receive 6-8 hours of sunlight during the summer and are stored in a warm area during the winter. The name originates from the Latin word for cane or reed.
