Its occasional spidery blossoms prompted me to move it to dappled shade where it grows under taller perennials. Each year it has gotten taller and spread gently. This year, after almost no winter, its stems are 6" to 18" tall. The transition from typical bellflower buds to spidery blossoms is rewarding. With deadheading, it give some re-blooming. An entertaining "understory" flower.

In addition to his other interesting notes and observations, I can add the following:
Despite the common name, don't expect the more traditional bell shape generally associated with this species. This variety has white petals that are very slender and pendular, like the fingers of a half-closed hand.
It is vital to keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged, for at least the first year of growth.
Regular deadheading and partial cutting back may encourage a second, smaller, flush of flowering in the same season. Though I suspect too many cycles like this will eventually exhaust the plant's ability to perform well.
An EU PVR has been granted under license # 11567, so propagation is now illegal without permission from the license holder. It should be noted that international plant breeders exclusive rights are guaranteed against the plant description registered under the license number and not the name. Under this scheme the licensed plant breeder has the right to use different names as appropriate to different territories.
An unusual perennial cultivar introduced from Korea. It was originally propagated in America under the cultivar name of Beautiful Trust b...Read Moreut it's real name is Beautiful Truth, named in honour for the Korean grower, Song Kihun's daughter.
Has light to mid green, very toothed, slightly glossy leaves. Bears pure white, nodding flowers with very slim petals that recurve. The buds look like a small, hanging lanterns.
Loves a moist but well drained, neutral to alkaline soil in sun or light shade. In areas where the summers are very hot they are best grown in dappled shade to ensure the soil doesn't dry out and the plant doesn't frazzle! Unlike the species C. takesimana, this cultivar forms civilised clumps and doesn't have a world domination plan.
I'm pretty sure this has a Plant Patent (or pending PP) in some countries so be careful of what you're propagating it for! Most likely this one won't come true from seed.
