The following spring ...Read Morethey all came up and proceeded to do their thing EXCEPT for this one. Somehow, I left it and its marker, in fact I sort of forgot it. A couple of weeks ago, I looked out the window and saw this wonderfully colored thing above all the others in that flower bed. I went to see this and there it was--4 years later--Indian Paint Brush. It had come up about 10" away from where I originally planted it. The flowers have excellent texture, hold their color, lots of buds. So far, I am very pleased with it.
