Still, its worth a try with an extra division you might have in a protected warm, winter dry spot.
Well, its spring of 2015 and this plant has been anything but marginal. Its thrived. Its in light shade..how it would be in sun I cant say. It might lose some of the light coloration,or not.
I can say its done even better then the common yellow and green. A nice surprise.

I have read online that Gustav E Bantel discovered this Sansevieria in 1946 growing in a patch in St Louis Missouri. It was given a Plan...Read Moret Patent # 796 on April 20th, 1948. Generally Bantel's Sensation colors are green, white, grey, and silver.
Known Bantel's Sensation varieties are as follows
1. Bantel's Sensation: Has dark green leaves with numerous pure white stripes, some leaves being up to 96% white. Others are 50% white with 2-8 stripes approx. It is variable so clones and selections can be found often.
2. Bantel's Sensation: "Whiteback" The same as Bantel's Sensation but most leaves all white below/lower part of leaf.
3. Bantel's Sensation: "Bogor" Same as Bantel's Sensation but dwarf variety. Its striped white to green in the center. Olive green margins and green stripes as its ages.
4. Bantel's Sensation: "Golden Sensation" In this sport the normal white part of the leaf is lemon-gold and the leaf is both wider and taller than the regular Bantel's Sensation.
5. Bantel's Sensation: "Sensational Sport" This Sansevieria has green margins and a pure white center. Since it has so much white and little green, it grows small and slower.
