Anemone, Grecian Windflower, Poppy Anemone 'Lord Lieutenant'

Mine bloomed for the first time then it slept the following year and yestetday it suddenly showed its face. Strange but I'm happy!

I'm not sure if this is the plant I have or not. A friend gave it to me and called it a "Lieutenant Baltimore" or an "Admiral Baltimore"...Read More columbine. Mine looks like the one in the bottom photo taken by turektaylor. It has leaves shaped like a columbines that make a small 10"-12" mound, and the small 1" round flowers sit on stalks about 6"-12" above the mound.

In my yard, this plant seems to do well in both sun and shade, and part of each! It's drought tolerant, good in pots, and for naturalizing as it self sows freely.

I'm happy with it and have plenty to pass along to friends.
