The blooms are like nothing I've ever seen. They start out a very bright lemon yellow and soon develop vivid apricot licks on the sides. The next day they are a clear, bright apricot. On the third day they turn coral, and then eventually change to a bright warm pink with coral hearts. All the color changes are gradual and start from the outer petals and work their way in. Since the buds open on successive days, there are several different colors on the plant at the same time.
I should mention that I did get one round of blooms that were paler and not as bright. I'm assuming this was due to warmer temperatures but I'm not sure.
The flower form is excellent, with the classic high point and great petal count. They open slowly and the centers do not show for several days.

Beautiful blooms and shiny dark green foliage...this rose is great. It needs some winter protection in zone 5.
