Hypericum, Gold Flower, Tricolor Hypericum, St. John's Wort, St. Johnswort 'Tri-color'

This is a hardy and gorgeous groundcover. I use it on the edge of a steep perennial bed where the soil tends to be dry and the sun fairl...Read Morey strong. It is stunning right now (September) with cream, white, red, pink and green leaves. Earlier in mid summer it had bright yellow flowers at the end of the branches. Although a small shrub it spreads out like a fan and looks great with iris and evergreens. I am adding more as it is so appealing. I am told it is not long lived as a perennial, but can be spread with runners. This is year two for me.
