5' to 6' tall. The ray-flowers are exceptionally large and age green-cream to pink (can be white to blue in acid soils). The flowerheads are large with crowded corymbs and can measure up to 10"- 12" across. Mid to late season. Dirr calls this a "pseudo-mophead" but categorized as a lacecap. Large lustrous green leaves. Spectacular in flower. Almost lost to cultivation but has been revived. Parentage: 'Mariesii Grandiflora' x 'Rosea'. Bred by Emile Mouillere, France between 1908 and1910.
