I purchased 6-7 of these from a tropical foods market, and kept them in a sealed container with ample humidity, in a warm place. In 90 days or so, several had succumbed to mold, but three began to sprout vigorously. These are said to be among the best tasting yams, but given that it can be difficult to find them, one can easily enough cultivate them in containers during the growing season, eat some, and simply overwinter several tubers indoors for the following season.
