It's pretty in the early summer with its lav...Read Moreender flowers and shiny leaves and I have trimmed the flowers off after bloom and almost to the ground to keep it bushy for the next spring. It's evergreen and can look rather rangey if not 'groomed' but when evrything is golden in the late summer, it's nice to have some nice dark green.

On our place, I pretend that it is hedges and cultivate certain areas(by grooming and washing off the dusty leaves) and take out what bothers me. Easily popped out of the ground, but will come back.
