• Eggs are laid in leaf/plant stems and guarded by an adult until hatch.
• Entylia carinata feed mostly on plant members of the sunflower/daisy family (Asteraceae) but will feed on other herbaceous perennials.
•It is common to find the nymphs attended to by ants.
