I agree Molly.
I grew up just south of Saratoga. I didn't mind the cold then, but I'm not much of a fan now. I think part of the problem is that it came on so fast and so early in the season.
It's going to start warming up starting tonight. It's only going to get down in the mid-40's, which is normal for this time of the year.

I sure could use those 40's Barb! We've been very cold this week dipping into the teens most nights. It was rather mild today for a change (40) but has since dropped back to 30. It's snowing a hard gritty snow that is rather painful on the skin right now. TV says it's slippery in some spots out there. When winter begins this way I have to dread a long cold one ahead!

I remember one winter, whenI was in grade school. Right before we were supposed to go back to school after the New Year, it snowed - a lot. We got about 4 extra days of vacation. The only way to get around was on Cross country skiis.
