Okay, so I'm better at telling who it isn't that who it is. It's quite pretty, whoever it is. It must be an OT. There's where my knowledge ends. And even then I could be wrong ;)

If your mystery lily were a little more down-facing it could pass for Red Hot. You sure have been holding out on us!!

Love that edging in pink, Ticker. Keep those pictures coming.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Yeah, well, always willing to enable. It's not like you haven't helped me in that way. :) LOL

This is just a general shot of the back gardens..

And here are lilies and hostas cohabiting peacefully together.. This is where I started using lilies as filler plants, and then they sucked me in and assimilated me. Resistance was futile...

Beautiful gardens Diann.

Moby, my Hartford usually blooms later than most of my asiatics, it is just starting.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Good girl, Nanny!! :)

Moby, what's that "heh heh" for? You've got me smoked when it comes to lilies.. :) LOL

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I love the hosta and lily combo.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Thanks Sue. I really need to spend some quality time in the gardens on my knees. I can't find half of what I planted.... I'm not sure if they are pouting, or toast...

'heh, heh' because you've been assimilated. ;) No honey, you are decidely unsmoked!

Sue, got any shade? Hostas can become as addicting as lilies... :)

Well, at least you can see what is there! So can I in most of the beds NOW!

My knees are much better now, so it is time to assault them again as I wreck havoc on the weed population. Have a couple coming to look at the beds tomorrow and then it is back to weeding. Got the lawn mowed today and I leave EARLY Friday morning for Wanda's. DGD has her 3rd birthday party on Sunday so will have to make a detour on the way home.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

You and the Wandaneeesta are going to Chicago, aren't you?? If you think your knees really need assaulting again, stop by and I'll let you weed here. :) (I didn't think so, but hey, doesn't hurt to try). :)

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

Not very much..... a little on the west side of the house. The trees are growing back from the neighbor topping them 2 years ago. I have about 25 or so hosta, I really am limited by the amount of shade. I have several on the north side of the house with the martagons and both seem happy.

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

Got butcher knife....will travel LOL

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Ah, remind me to stay on the good side of you. :)

I need to invest in some Martagons, but I want to put them down with the hostas under the Black Walnut trees and so... I'll probably start out with some cheap ones and go from there. Just in case they don't like BW's. :)

I also need to weed the hostas and they have a much better chance of that happening than do the lily beds, a) it's easier to move around under them, and b) it's in the shade. ;) LOL

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

It's a good thing I still like the sun, cause shade is at a premium in my yard.

Star Blush, it is kind of puny this year, but shows promise of being a real beauty.

This fine specimen opened it's first bloom today. It caught me by surprise. I failed to find a reference marker or note as to it's designation.and placement. Does anyone know it's name?
