It is in the right hand corner of the first photo...red leaves just starting.
An AlohaHoya tour
Wow!!! Great garden!!!! Love it, love it, love it!!!!

One of the many, many fruit trees...and some other stuff too!
Above photo is a Malabar Chestnut with some Cycads, a pine tree and a palm. This bunch were growing thru their pots thrown on the ground when we took over the property. Bob built up the soil, made a wall, tied everything so it would grow UP not OUT...we call it the ISLAND.
Thanks, Shari! Ya, I wish I had something anywhere near Carol's garden! :)
So do I !!!! LOL....I really appreciate it more now... when I walk around all I see is WORK, WEEDS and feel WEARY....
Not really...but not too far from the truth!
Heck, I want all her land!!
Oh, and the plants too!!
Awesome story you wrote, Shari! :)
I would settle for one of everything, even just a cutting! Do they make a flat rate box that large?!!! HE HE HE
Of course we want more, Shari, it is gorgeous!
ditto misy!!
My mouth is watering just seeing the pics! :)
Mine too!! Hey did you see my slip up there? I just noticed it. lol
Okay, more tomorrow...I have to go open the shop in a bit for some travelers...
Forget that we are the other side of the time zone. It is sometime tomorrow morning for Shari. I'm getting ready for bed. Carol, is your paradise anything like Kihei?
Where is Jenny?
yes I did, but I knew what ya meant, pepper! LOL
Shari, we will try to be patient! :)
slow to catch on...travelers? to Kwayalein? Politicians?
Islandshari, What kind of shop do you have? What is the time difference between Marshall Islands and Texas? Thanks, Jerry

That's 2:09 Friday Jerry. :~)
Kihei is drier, with great riots of color with bougies, plumerias ....we get about 150" of rain per year...grow everything hydroponically even if it is in the ground!!! We probably have more GREEN...they have more color and beaches!!!!
I bet you could do a good tropical workshop
So in other words, I would have one hellacious water bill?! LOL
I am a buyer for a Micronesian Handicraft Shop...the travelers were folks that spent the holidays with their family on the native island of Ebeye...are leaving today and didn't get a chance to come into the shop because we were closed all week for Christmas. Our shop carries things from all over Micronesia...so Marshallese that live in the states like to shop there for things to take home to their friends on Conus. Ooops ... that's continental US.
Thanks for clarifying cause I would never have figured that one out! LOL
I was thinking of ConAir when I saw conus. lol
I do tend to speak in islandtalk every once in a while...sorry.
Its okay, we can always ask what you are talking about. :)
We don't mind. lol.
Especially when I get confused so easily! LOL
LOL. Brain banana splits. That what we can think of when we get confused.
Cause me banana brain is frozen from the ice cream! HE HE HE
Aloha Everybody! Wish I was on the same time schedule as you guys - I miss so much!
Warm welcome to Jerry...
Carol, the garden is lovely, I just hope Katiebear saw the picture of the Malabar Chestnut, remember she had just sprouted some a little while ago? Black cane is the best for rum - hmm! Got a still out on the back 40 Carol? If so I need a lesson on rum running!
Jenny
Now wouldn't that be so much fun to have our own little distillery?! LOL
Sisdilerry! tshat woulsd be show mush fun
OMG, RJ already has his own up and running! LOL
Hi Jenny. Have been asking about you. We have really hit the sillies this evening. Wind down from the holidays I expect. Counting the days. Can't wait.
Randy, where was it hidden? I didn't see it. Time for a little trip back to Houston.
Before we know it this thread will become Winter Wonderland to Spring Spirit, but not soon enough!
