So, kell are you back now?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

There are calm days and crazy days. We have weddings there almost every weekend.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

I can see now why the birds fly into the windows .
Jealous here . I can't add pics.

Tropicanna & Red . You sure are two dedicated MUM's .
Don't know where yall find the time .

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

No Tropicanna . $15 per hour to read your posts .
That is dedication .
And Pep keeps typing over me . still !!!!!!!!!!

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

Oh, gracious, Kell-I'm gonna have to try and find something quick to make it worth it..brb I think

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

You can't really see the windows in that pic. I will take some better ones when I get some more film.

Here's part of the walkway leading to the chapel. It looks totally different now from when I took the pic because all the trees have filled in. I will also get more pics of that.

ginger, I had a pic of one of my friend's son wearing a dress, and I almost posted it, because he reminded me of you. But I thought his parents might not appreciate that...so......

I know this is the canna thread, but here's a plant that I know some of us have an appreciation for ;)

Nice looking path Pep .
I built a new tool shed this week .

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

I coudn't tell if it was a bud of a plant or green tomatoes. lol. I have a bud on one of my tomatoes already. I can't wait til it becomes a tomato.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

I was wondering what those buds were ?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

lol. I wonder if she will tell us in a few?

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

LOL. Nice try but you didn't build that one.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Let's take a vote on THIS ONE .

Who thinks I built this Tool Shed ???

Votes close this time Sunday .

Please make your Vote .

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

They're HOPS!

Love your new shed Kell, that's pretty ornate

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

No way you could do it in three days unless it is a kit. Too ornate.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

So Tropicanna ,
I take that as a Yes vote from YOU ?

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Over again Pep .

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

No one one person could do it all even if it was a kit-lol

(Tammie) Odessa, TX(Zone 7b)

Well, somebody built it but I don't think it was you and three days! Trying to tell us something .... like, oh, could you do other 'miraclous' things in seven days! LOL

Tammie

Livermore, CA(Zone 9b)

wow, I missed some excitement !

I knew those were hops the second I saw them - fields of them in Oregon/beer country... plus DH & I have made our own beer. Cross country we used to run through the hop fields.

Um, Kell, I have alot of faith in your ability to build a great tool shed; but I'm not sure that's your style - I vote "NO" and I hope your computer is fixed by Sunday so you don't have to pay $15 again!

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

I'm glad I'm not running for the white House ?
I'd be voted out by now .
And I thought yall were friends .

Time to look for my only true friend .
( calling out loud ) Here Jack Where are YOU ?

Livermore, CA(Zone 9b)

no, it's not like that ginger !!!!

(Tammie) Odessa, TX(Zone 7b)

Ok, lets try this:

"Wow! You built that beautiful shed in 3 days! I am completley amazed and honored to know someone who can do such beautiful and swift work. Please don't break your arm trying to pat yourself on the back... I will gladly do it for you. Job well done!"

... did that work?

Aurora, CO(Zone 5b)

OK, here's a pic of my baby cannas. There are about a dozen more out of pic(was working on the drip irrigation to veg garden). These should get in the ground today.

you big strong man, you !!!

lol @ Tammie

Livermore, CA(Zone 9b)

nice babies vadap, you must be a proud papa !!

(Tammie) Odessa, TX(Zone 7b)

Way to go vadap.. I have rotten luck withseeds. Planted about 16... all had tiny roots starting.. ended up with 2! I am having trouble with watering too much. It is habit and I am not used to it being so humid here. I usually run out of my rain water in my can in about a week and then can't get enough of the condensation water from the AC to keep everything watered... it has been 2 weeks since any significant rain fall and I have every container FULL of water and nothing needs watering! I can't believe how much condensation the AC is producing..

... I am talking about potted things.. my yard is another thing entirely. The back looks great but I have had to hand water the front the past two days to keep it alive. The sun is baking it. The sprinkler system can't keep up. Well, if I use it all the time, some areas get more water than they need... so I drag out the green garden snake to the front yard.

Tammie

Aurora, CO(Zone 5b)

Tammie, Water less often, but more. Do you have installed irrigation? If so, let it run at least 20+min, early morn(before the sun bakes everything), and only 3 days a week or so. Also, let the grass grow tall, to at least 4 inches. If you have a compost pile, put every other cutting there, and leave the other on the grass. I grew up in Houston with bermuda or st augustine(lived in different houses-5 in 8 years), and with kentucky blue here, it's about the same thing. Growing up, we usually had the best lawn on the block! Hope this helps. Paul.
