so... where are you hiding the bulbs now? I have 2 late arrivals in the basement & am debating if I should go out in this 50 degree weather & pop them into the ground.....

What do you guys think? We'll be frozen solid again within a week or so.

Absolutely!!!! I'm suppose to hit 68* tomorrow and I'm out with a late batch of daffs that I was considering forcing, but will plant now! Yoo Hoo for this strange wacky weather. Darn near 70* on New Year's Eve....who da thunk it!

I was just checking site out to see what any body would possible buy more of these .the strangest thing happened

70f??? Not fair! We might actually get snowed on this weekend instead of the neverending rain. How about we trade weather after you get all of your bulbs dug in. Call me fussy, but I hate digging in the mud.

Supposed to either rain or sleet today and I have a Dr.'s appt in Eau Claire. Oh well.

Tazzy, you can wiggle anything you have left to wiggle! I dug today at 60 degrees---it's thawed down about 6 inches & solid ice after that. I'm just thankful to have a day without that heavy old winter coat!

Last time I checked there I didn't see any Callas and I still don't see any Callas. Am I blind? LOL! I have had my eye on those First Lady Asiatics though, gonna have to get some of those before the ground gets too frozen!

Just bought up all the First Lady Asiatics! DH is not going to be happy with me!

But the bulbs are so huge! So much larger than I would ever get at any local nuseries and cheaper too (that's what I keep telling myself). I can't believe how much they have grown with how short our days are up here. It's pitch black outside by 4:30pm and they're all in north-facing windows.

I wish Buggycrazy had more colors available. Anyone know of any good sites for buying colored callas at a reasonable price?

Thanks Emily. I had asked her, but she said she didn't have them listed yet. I wonder why? Oh well, guess I'll be hearing from her again now that I bought 5 of the yellows! I want pink, but I want a darker pink than what she has listed. I want, I want, I want......

Prices aren't near as good as Buggycrazy's, but I'll split some with ya if you want to. She also said she was going to list hers in a few days...I'm not sure what other colors she has.

Tazzy - did you buy the year-end mixed lily specials? I bought her 10 mixed orientals for $12 and 12 mixed asiatics for $10. They just arrived and I practically fell over. I got four boxes of a total of 55 bulbs, the biggest of which are the size of small grapefruits! Now I have to go out and plant them. Thank goodness for our warm spell!
