I have several of these seedlings acquired on line and have been growing them about 3 years in zone 9b southern California... so far they are disappointingly slow growers, still being distichous and looking like seedlings. But they are at least obviously making some progress. It will seem these are gonna take a good many years before getting to flowering size at this rate... perhaps this climate is not so ideal, though winter has not phased them that I can tell (gets down to 28f regularly at least once in winter).
