I have had one of these plants for about five years. Each year it has had more large white blooms than the year before. The blooms are ...Read Morebeautiful but they do not last long, only about a week. If you grow one of these plants, try to grow it in a protected area. Mine is not, and it takes a beating from the wind. I think the blooms would last longer if the plant were in a protected area. It blooms in the late spring.

The one I planted in my first garden in the city doubled its size in 5 years. The current one was planted fall of 2006, and had two large blooms this spring.
