I was so excited I crooned to ...Read Moreit in babytalk, at which point the nearby Agave parviflora reached out, stabbed me, and told me to grow up! This plant is a slow grower but blooms every year sometime from January to May. My plant is in the ground, in deciduous tree shade, with a lot of winter sun. It gets water every other week in summer and none in winter. It is not covered in winter except by downed leaves and it survived the December freeze of 28F, but the bloom stalk was killed.
