This Stachys is v...Read Moreery floriferous, grows quicky from seeds and blooms the first year, requiring high luminosity, some moisture and well drained soil. Both, foliage and flowers are of interest. Deadheading will keep the plant blooming almost year round.

Propagation from seeds: Autumn sowing in a mix of equal parts of regular garden soil, compost and river sand. Cover this mix with a thin layer of river sand, scatter your seeds and cover them with some more river sand. Transplant into pots with the same soil mixture once the plantils have developed two true leaves.

This Stachys is adecuate for borders, beds, rock gardens, pots, containers and balconies.
