The specimen I planted in 2003 grew fast, but it grew with lots of V-crotching and in the summer of 2015 I found some big cracks in the trunk and branches from too much weight on a weak structure. Therefore, I had to prune away about 40% of the tree to take off all the extra weight. Unfortunately, the several big cracks will never heal and wood rot will enter. If I lived there, maybe I would have caught the problem much earlier.
