Foliage was okay, got crispy as the summer passed, and never bloomed. This spring I dug it up and grew it in a 4" nursery pot in on my partially shaded patio until I was sure it was growing strong. I put it in the ground on the north side of a privacy fence, 5' out, where it received filtered light through a tall tree. The soil was better in it's new home and the plant seemed to like it there. It's now October and it is in full bloom, blossoms all over it. I wish I had moved it sooner. I am considering dividing it next year to get more plants. Beautiful flowers, yellow but not too brilliant. I wonder how big this plant will get. I haven't ever seen this plant for sale in my area again since I bought it for it's varigated foliage three years ago. I want more.
