I thought ...more plants!...but I neglected to divide and transplant...this next spring I discovered it had grown a large and twisted root system...this is probably my fault for not cleaning up the plant the year before...foliage is a pretty purple-red...my soil has a lot of clam shells in it...but alot of firs around too...makes for a slightly alkaline soil.
