This is why we should always use latin names.
Anyway, it's a beautiful plant, unlike other Nandinas which are all weedy looking fugly shrubs to me.
Nandina domestica 'Filamentosa' is worthy to be in my garden.
It provides a feathery texture and is not weedy or invasive.
It also seems to be a dwarf.

Finally, after 3 years in a fairly sunny location I focused on it, spent some hours researching online until I figured out what it was. I've always found it intriguing and graceful, and trimmed it so the interesting 'umbrella' growth style from the top of the stems can be seen.
I gave this a positive rating because with little care, it has thrived. Never a bug on it, no dust or mildew (I live in Portland OR where it can be humid in the summer), no dieback other than what bamboos typically do. Easy care and great reward.
Now to figure out how to get more plants out of it to share with others.
