I wa...Read Mores disappointed that the fruit turned dark red because when I had seen them for sale (like dried flowers) they were QUITE ORANGE. From the behavior of the drying fruit, they would probably make neat dried christmas decorations. They don't rot, they just sort of dry out like a pomegranate(sp?).
