I took a cutting from it last year and the cutting overwintered in the garage with a seedling columbine. I planted it out mid-spring and it is taking well in a partial sun area. The parent plant is in full sun. It is fast-growing into a good-sized shrub every year with prominent small pinkish flowers and purple berries filling the long strong stems.

It is a beautiful plant with the leaves turning a bright green in the fall. Loaded with the bright purple berries, it is stunning this time of the year.
