At Christmastime last year there were so many fruit that it looked like a decorated Christmas tree. I have been so impressed with its performance I recently purchased a variegated form to see how it will do. My plants are always in full sun, they are kept quite moist, and I fertilize on a schedule of every 2 months with citrus fertilizer. It is one of my favorite plants in the garden.
I am originally from the Midwest and had never heard of this plant until we moved to Houston and my native Floridian husband saw it during a nursery visit and recommended that we purchase it. What a great surprise it has been!

You get 2 to 3 flushes of fruit a year, it's cold hardy to the low 20's and high teens, and it's compact enough to fit in most every garden. Beautiful to look at and draws bees and other beneficials like a magnet when it blooms. Can't recommend it enough!
