They h...Read Moreave a nice fragrance, but I only noticed it when I brought some indoors. Gets bigger every year, but has not shown any invasive tendencies in the three year that I'm had them.
This is a very good cutting flower and makes nice filler in tulip bouquets.
Mine grow in shade with maybe 2 hours of morning sun. The soil is dryish red clay. I found that they needed a fair amount of moisture while getting established, but did fine with just rainfall after that, even with a large greedy maple tree nearby.
