I have been told that most people in this area treat tulips as annuals and are unable to get them to come back the next year. I planted these in 2008, and now they have come back in 2009, PLUS increased in numbers. These are a lovely shade of lavender/blue with beautiful blue-green crinkled leaves. As a bonus, mine are SCENTED with a heavenly baby-powder type scent! I will definitely be adding more of these in years to come!
Added in 2010: These returned yet again in 2010. I moved some of the bulbs and they had divided themselves. This is the ONLY tulip I have found to be reliable for coming back repeatedly in our zone 8b East Texas location.

I love this tulip!! It grows well for me here in my zone 2b garden in Manitoba, Canada. The flowers last so long!
