They are a huge tree in spread and height and have the most fantastic great long leaves that are like ribbons reaching up to 16 inches in length. The branches hang down under the weight giving a weeping habit that move gently in the breeze. It is pleasant to be under them on hot days and a light aroma is produced.
They are tropical looking and astounding!
They are best in open places where they can be appreciated and allowed to grow unchecked. They are also very messy litterwise.
This plant is much hardier than suggested.
