When planted en masse, is strongly fragrant (easily smelled from a few feet away, and sometimes as much as 15 feet away), and can fool people into thinking my roses actually have scent ;) (albeit not the classic rose scent!). Be aware that the flower stalks are 18 inches tall, so using this as an edger for 12-inch plants is not a good idea! Considered a groundcover plant, it spreads well, fanning out above-ground and then sending down new roots, so it's easy to spot where the growth is happening and keep it in check if desired.
