I discussed this plant with Enid at Natural Selections Exotics
and I sent her a picture. She told me the correct name for the purple variety is C. jacobiana. She said Odoratissimum is the all green variety.
Enid's words:
"Odoratissimum has all green leaves and lighter, more lavender colored flowers
rather than purple leaves and purple flowers."
