When I dug it up to return, it looked like the root system ...Read Morehad been chopped off to just the finger size roots. Was this what killed it or was the site to blame? It was in full sun in a well drained site -- zone 4. The nursery did not have an opinion for me. Would love to buy it again, but need to find out what happened first. The tree was approximately 3 to 5 ft. high and had hues of light green, yellows, and blue on the undersides of the needles.
