Us...Read Moreed a panel of 42'x84' remesh from Home Depot for a trellis -- 3 plants would fill it up nicely. Very tough cuc, good for arid, windy conditions, never had disease problems, even at the end of the season. Produces a lot. My ex-hubby used them for pickling. While they don't get as long as slicers, they are wonderful for fresh eating -- very sweet and crisp if you pick them before reaching 5".
Although I'm now in a totally different climate with lots of rain, I'll likely try growing this one again and we'll see how well it does here.
