I have a mass planting of them and they make all the perennials around them look more elegant. The flowers are large but not unnaturally huge so they blend in well and hold themselves upright without a fuss.

The excellent contrast and texture of the flower is captivating with the dark freckles and true yellow center. The buds are also beautiful as they mature through shades of chartreuse and create a long-lasting island of cool through the hot summer garden.

The fragrance is strong and fine, comparable to most other oriental lilies.
