In 1996 after my mother's passing I moved my dad to be closer to me along with his "S...Read Morenowfire" I have enjoyed many, many years of salad plate sized fragrant blooms on a 5-6 ft. bush with dark green foliage. I had plans of moving into an apartment, knowing I wouldn't be able to move it with me, I gave it to my son, after being moved and transplanted to a new location for the second time, now he's enjoying the big beautiful blooms of the "Snowfire". I hope that he enjoys another 40 years of the most beautiful rose I have ever known. Recently my plans have changed and I will not be moving into an apartment, but purchasing a new home, my hopes are that I will be able to replace it when I get to my new home.

However, be wa...Read Morerned...Snowfire is quite possibly the most prickly rose you will ever encounter. It is absolutely covered in prickles beyond anything you've encountered with any other rose.

This year the first bloom appeard in mid to late April. (2015) it was beautiful. And a lot bigger than last year's. Unfortunately we had some rough rain and wind come through and knocked off all the petals. The plant itself did survive, happily. :) i water it when i see tgat the soil is a bit dry. And it doesn't have any problems. It suggested on the care tag that i put some top soil and mulch down after i plant it. I failed to do this, as most of the places i went didn't have any in stock, so i let the rose grow in the natural soil. Very pleased with this gorgeous rose. :)

I had it for 15 yrs and some of the roses were as big as my hand. The color and size is what caught everyones attention. I had to move and my rose bush was left for my daughter to enjoy. I am now looking for another one. It is simpily a beautiful rose.
