IT flowers early before all other watsonias, end of march, here in Santa Rosa, ca. The fl. Stem is about 1&1/2 ft. The thin leaves under a ft. Winter grower/ summer dormant. Can grow in rock cracks, thin soil pockets. Seems to take some degrees of frost here, but how much more ??
