They are said to bloom the next year from seed but it took me a little longer. But I'm exited anyway -- a little thing 3-4 in. tall got looooooong stalk full of big yellow buds. And it funny plant too: the glossy green leaves are longer than the stem!

The flower has no scent that I can detect, but it's hayfever season here so I probably couldn't detect a skunk.
