The first time I saw it in a pasture I was driving by, I p...Read Moreulled over, grabbed my camera and went over a barbed wire fence to take a photo of it. Then I had to find a way to get one. Fortunately, I found some at a native nursery the next year and I've had this beautiful penstemon growing here ever since. It even tolerates the native soil around here and it always amazes me anything can thrive in that!
