It seems that it grows in dry lands or even in or near desert in Australia , but the one i pictured is in Curepipe botanical garden where it rain quite lot . And in fact it's just meters away from the unic H.Amaricaulis.The flower stalk could reach very high 4-6 m even more.The flower is very attractive bright red.
