Through mishap and circumstance the tree was only slightly larger seven years after planting. I was only able to harvest a few fruit.
After the first flush of growth every spring an unknown insect would vrtually defoliate the tree at night. Physical barriers did not work and my property is pesticide free.
The first spring after moving off the property the occupant killed the tree trying to invigorate it with water and fertilizer.

I have never grown these, but they taste very good and look beautiful hanging on the tree.
