Guarapo is when you press the sugar cane and extract the juices. You can drink cool or mix with other liquors, like vodka or rum,add some ice,a little orange juice,a touch of one leaf of peppermint and voilaaa!!!!...you can dancing all night.Remember, this is like drink wine. One drink make you lite, two drinks make you happy, and three make you stupid.....
You can grow indoor or outdoors. We recommended a large pot(about 20 gallons, minimum),with a mix of clay or sand, cow manure and even one of the best,an addition of ashes from the BBQ.The same compost working very well with tomatoes and potatoes.Just try and send samples,please,hehehe......!!!!!Oh,don`t forget to cover the inside border and the bottom of your pot with newspaper and put some stones, bricks or volcanic rocks in the bottom of the pot (about 10 % of the size of the pot). This plant love warm soil.A pint of water every three days is ok for this plant.Watering on the side of the pot.Not over the plant, and never watering after 4 pm.She don`t like sleep with wet feet.
Note: I have a friend in Canada, more precise in Toronto-Ontario who have this plant indoor and outdoor. The indoor going bigger and bigger, every year and the outdoor is just the same for about three years with about ten to twelve new canes every year. But remember,my friend crop this plants every 6 month. He want to crop more times, but his wife threated him with a divorce issue if he doing so.hehehe......!!!!
