Differs from Al...Read Moreoe greatheadii only in floral characteristics (has mutiple flowering episodes). Looks a lot like Aloe zebrina, and lives near it in S AFrica. As a matter of fact, this species looks a LOT like a lot of other spotted aloes, all which tend to get necrotic leaf tips in winter, and have pink flowers on branching racemes. Most of these other spotted aloes bloom in winter too (Aloe zebrina blooms in the summers). Some say that many of these other spotted aloe species will end up being this when a major reclassification is done. We'll see... hope not. Also called Aloe davyana.
