The Prince's Feather grew easily, reaching a height of three feet within 6 to 8 weeks. Sun exposure was from noon on, with heavy watering during a rare Oregon heat wave (Willamette Valley area.) It wilted fast during this period unless watered. The plant is beginning to dry out now, late September, so I will collect the seeds and try them again next spring. Beautiful plant and an instant conversation piece. I highly recommend this plant if you'd like something different with a deep burgandy color.
Very easy, beautiful flower. Loves the sun and heat.
