This is a very sweet melon and grows well in my NE Texas, zone 8a weather. Average size is about 6 inches in diameter, weighting about 4 lbs. I highly recommend this variety if you live in a hot, humid area. Need to be watered regularly if they don't receive enough rain. You won't be disappointed.

If this is the Honey Rock Melon grown in Howell, Michigan----it's the best eating you can find.
An open pollinated home garden melon. Round, about 6 inches in diameter and with orangy flesh. Highly aromatic. Grows well.
