It is also turing out to be a very hardy and easy to grow fern, looking a bit like a leathery, miniature version of a Bird's Nest Fern (Asplenium nidus.). It is surprisingly drought tolerant and often I forget to water it months at a time even in summer, and though it does stress a bit at this abuse, it still keeps on growing slower. Not terribly happy about hot, inland sun, though. I would say this has got to be one of the easiest of all ferns there are to grow. This is a native of the Lord Howe Islands, off Australia
