I have two planted in my yard in full sun; both doing very well so far, but I am not sure if they will make it through the winter, although I have seen others in my area growing in people's yards. (I live about 30 miles south of Tampa, Florida (U.S.)

It's a great tree so far, super fast growth rate - I understand it is a dwarf palm, reaching a height of 25 feet tall and 15 feet wide.

!!! Just a quick update. It did make it through the winter here in zone 9b. It looked pretty sad however. It is just now starting to come back around to looking good in June. Still looking forward to fruit in a few years. Keep your fingers crossed.
